Today the company operates under name Medallion(TM). They
provide dash instrumentation to a large portion of the premier ski
boat manufacturers. Past aliases are Borg-Warner and Kysor-Medallion.
Medallion started producing these gauges in 1997.
Every gauge is controlled by the onboard dash computer, typically
called the MDC (Marine Data Concentrator) or MMDC.
The computer instructs each gauge where to point their needle(s).

How do I know if its the right Medallion gauge? Look for a five position
connector that mates to the gauge’s backside (at the bottom).
Secondly, if your lucky you’ll find a sticker on the side of the
gauge with the Medallion(TM) name, and a date code.
